Depuis 25 ans, Triptyque Architecture trace un parcours singulier entre la France et le Brésil, inventant un langage architectural nourri à la fois par l’expérimentation tropicale et par la rigueur constructive héritée du modernisme européen. Cette double appartenance culturelle a forgé une pratique où la structure et l’usage s’entrelacent, où le bâti dialogue en permanence avec la ville, le climat et le vivant.
L’exposition Corps Mort / Corps Vivant propose une relecture de projets emblématiques de l’agence à travers une tension féconde : d’un côté, l’ordre structurel permanent, stable, minéral, rigoureux ; de l’autre, l’ordre mouvant de l’usage et de l’agrément, léger, organique et reprogrammable. Ce contraste, loin d’être une opposition, fonde une dialectique constitutive du travail de Triptyque : un jeu d’équilibre entre permanence et transformation, entre inertie et vitalité.
For 25 years, Triptyque Architecture has traced a singular trajectory between France and Brazil, crafting an architectural language nourished both by tropical experimentation and by the constructive rigor inherited from European modernism. This dual cultural belonging has shaped a practice in which structure and use intertwine, where the built form maintains a constant dialogue with the city, the climate, and the living world.
The exhibition Corps Mort / Corps Vivant revisits the studio’s most emblematic projects through a fertile tension: on one hand, the structural order—permanent, stable, mineral, rigorous; on the other, the mutable order of use and pleasure—light, organic, and reprogrammable. This contrast, far from a simple opposition, underpins the very dialectic of Triptyque’s work : a delicate balance between permanence and transformation, between inertia and vitality.
